looking for 2 pieces of 75 x 50 x 5 box (or nearest)

As the title says i am looking for 2 pieces of 75 x 50 x 5 box (or nearest) with one being 2150mm long and the other 2060mm long in the stoke on trent area. Its what one of our fabricators reckon i need for supporting joists in my garage that at the moment rest on upvc windows. I was hoping that our local TATA steel may have an off cut /surplas but nothing at the moment so i am just hoping someone on this forum not too far from stoke would have 2 pieces available / laying around and would be willing to sell it on fairly cheap - NOT FOR FREE, i dont mind paying - Mark

Mark, you'd be as well going to a local stockholder and buying a single length - something like 7.5m as standard. As you need over 4m anyway it's probably the best solution. 2m long lengths seldom count as offcuts.

Tata and ASD are probably expensive if you don't have an account, but I bet there are smaller places who will sell for cash and without a massive markup.
