Months??? Weldequip months??? I only joined the forum last month. 
I was so so close to ordering from you though, & yes to be fair you did do a lot of "spade work". It was just only a slight communication error between us that got me looking into other possible sources of supply. Hope there's no hard feelings though.
Anyway I can confirm to every one that the Portamigs are excellent machines
(mine just hasn't got the Portamig badge). 
I agree with you Steve that if at all possible, everyone should be supporting their local businesses as much as they can.

When you finally got in touch the following Tuesday it was to ask "Have you made a decision on the 211 or 231 yet?" - still no phone number 
And please don't miss-quote me. What I actually said in my PM to you was:
"I know you contribute a hell of a lot to the forum & all that, but I would always rather support a local supplier, plus the obvious advantages of local support should it ever break down."

Sounds like you are the one throwing your toys out of the pram! As I said, 14 hour days & 50+ messages a day... do you work Saturdays & Sundays? I was actually away in Anglesey for the weekend... putting a little money into the Welsh economy.Welsh
