longest gearbox change ever?

how long do you reckon to change gearbox on a disco rolling chassis?
no body in way transferbox off already.
1hr? how about nearly 5hrs?
and thats with 2 helpers admittedly they were only 3 and 4 yrs old.
and insisted on me trying every socket and spanner in set to see which ones fitted.
still best fun i have had in ages they were both absolutely black when finished and nearly had me choking on my coffee when my little girl told mummy we got it done quickly.

my mate did wishbones on his fiesta, 2 days told me it was the hardest thing he had ever done! when i did them on my Ka he was gutted when i did both of them in 30mins i later found out he had used only an adjustable and two sets of pliers lol

Its fun having a helper now and then, but other times, its just a right royal pain!

My daughter about 4 at the time, helped me fix the abs on the Audi we had, took us about 10 mins total, garage reckoned it would be a few hours work and they misdiagnosed it anyway.
