long term caddy project

hi thought it about time put a few pics up of my project shed loads to do

so far put in new sills both sides/ drivers side floor pan.....be gentle as i'am still learning on the welding front....and started with a arc welder but now own a mig and am finding it much better.... i'll get some more pics up of some of the many plates shes having....advise and tips more than welcome.....gormo

Looks good. I love commercial vehicles, the older and more obscure the better.

ha cadillac with the price of fuel ovr here i couldn't even afford to start one up....its a vdub thing not in to all these's new pick-ups i like old'r motors were you can lift the bonnet and fix it yourself.....

hi barny not sure more of a toy than a work house....i have a ten year old who's car mad
and says its going to be his for when hes old enuf to drive which he's prity gud at all ready.
i do a lot of kayak fishing....so will use it for transporting the kayaks on when finished...i keep the t4 camper for the hols with the other half.. so the caddy will be more for wild camping with the kayaks and me m8.....but that a long way off the way its going...

I went to pick up a MKIII Lincoln Continetal in Luton some years ago and noticed an Eldorado in the front garden of a house in the next road. I mentioned the caddy to the bloke with the lincoln, he said it hadn't
moved for a while. I knocked on the door and was told if I wanted it
to take it!

The one i saw was in use, the guy in it had a high vis on so i assume he was working in it.

if its a really long term project it could be your sons... only 7 years and he will be driving

nice pics guiness if this one turns out half as nice as that i'l be pleased....was thinking about checker platin the rear sides and bed....but sure may go for a smooth finish bed and sides welded in some how....u still got yrs or long gone guiness

sadly had to sell her for money to buy my house
look at the audi 80 centre console fits like a glove
and the back bumpers

nice one guiness i'l keep that in mind for the rear bumper the caddy pick-ups never tend to look finished on the rears to me thanks gormo
