Welded a few drills to bright rod over the years to get into recessed holes

drill and ream a piece of silver steel and then put your drill in that with silver solder

I have just welded them on to a long rod its a one off job should be fine

ive had a masonary drill i extended for about 6 years now sharpened it a fair few times and still going strong
