Wasnt sure where to put this but thought that it might be of interest to some members. First time ive saw a log splitter like this they loog relativly simple. heres the website
looks more dangerous than the hyraulic driven type. how many people get caught in P.T.Os without a design like than. thats just my opinion, but then again if ur dumb enough to grap on to it
The 'conical-screw' splitters are clearly more unforgiving of inattention and fatigue than the ram types; just imagine an overall`s sleeve or loose-fitting glove being caught by that helix....

Having 'lost' a finger (subsequently re-attached) in a piece of farm machinery, I know how frighteningly easily and quickly `bad-things happen.
I know but I could listen to the big log splitter all day long this is probably one of the safest and easiest method of splitting logs well it made laugh
