Locking Bolt Retaining Method

Hi All i was wondering if anyone can please share some advice on a particular matter i am having. i have an M16 Bolt which threads into a turnbuckle locking threaded bar. i want to prevent the bolt from unthreading out of the bar and the bolt and nuts need to be stainless. can anyone please share some advice on how to go about this with the limited room i have.

Honestly wud want something more reliable, it is a cover going into the ground over an access chamber and want to be 100% the locking bar wud never come off

I know you say you are limited on space but look what secures suspension and steering on cars. Split pin, Nylock nut, Tab washer. Wire locked nut. and many more. Then there are aircraft fixings.....

Are you referring to making it tamper proof or a permanent fit(even then there's permanent and there's permanent)? If its bolting to something fixed to the ground I wouldn't assume its going to work itself loose(i.e. in an automotive application due to vibration etc).

If you use loctite 648 on it, the damn thing will never come loose, at least not without the application of serious heat and violence. They use that for securing motorcycle alternators to crankshafts.

Bit ov locktite to keep it secure at first, then let old Mother Nature take over she will stick most nuts and bolts in permanently

As said, various grades of loctite should work from threadlocker to bearing and stud locker etc, some can be undone with handtools, some needs heat and persuading.
Point I would make is (like welding) the job needs to be prepped and clean before applying the loctite or it may not work as intended if its blobbed on to oily/greasy threads.
Other than loctite (s) I drill and use lockwire, or drop a blob of weld over the nut -(noted you are using stainless though-may not be so easy).

Do you have access to the end of the bolt once it's in place? If so, any of the suggestons above like split pins etc., or just deform the thread somehow so that it can't unwind.
