Garage clearance just up the road from me. Was without charge -

I suspect this one may be outside of its pat test window. Might be curious for electrolysis as it has the amp meter.

And then the hammers -

My rubber mallet was killed by my partner hammering things, but these are if more interest -

The copper (?) on some of them are proper peened over but I'm not going to complain too much about the gift horse...

And finally -

I'm not sure I'll ever use that last one. Digital is just way easier. But they snuck it into my pile themselves, and I know the rest was going in a skip, so I took it anyway.

The hammers are probably of the most interest. I have to do a bit of beating and have never had proper hammers. I guess I'll read up on what I'm supposed to do with them!

Fitting them isn't trivial though. The new instructions only say 'suitable' sized press but I'm fairly certain Thor used to recommend a 50ton press.

A new hammer is far more cost effective to most people

we used to put them in using vice.

Put the hammer on the face
Wack it with a sledge.

Its not putting the new faces on the hammers thats the problem its getting the old ones out.

Hammer and very sharp chisel is the way I've done it.

Someone has used one of those for standard hammering stuff, and the face is gouged and embedded with bits of "stuff".

I've kind of cleaned it up, but, being unfamiliar with the exact purpose of these, I'm unsure what's really required.

There's another one that I've not really looked at yet.

do love a thor copper hide mallet...ive got a teeny one for the lathe and BFH for the crane Fly jib pins. still got the first one i bought as an apprentice too, but not sure where it is

The purpose of them is for twatting stuff you don't wish to damage. The copper faces will get damaged & mushroom.
