I have a quick question. What kind of hp would there be in a cement mixer lister engine? I thought around 3hp.

3-5hp ish depending on model but gobs of torque, not to be confused with a 3-5hp petrol engine.

It will have a look. It's a diesel. I am as wanting to put a pump on it to run a log splitter. Once i make it . Don't think 31/2hp would be enough tbh.what do ppl think ?. Oh did I mention it will foc aswell

You could stop a 3hp petrol honda with your foot, try that with a lister or petter and report back

The Honda would probably struggle to turn a Lister flywheel

remember some of those piddley hydraulic log splitters us a small elec motor........
personally go for 3-5hp unless u can blag that engine just above my post......bit of a wast tho....hahaha.........l

Lister makes 3hp at 700rpm so has gobs of torque. Something like a 3hp Honda is making 3 hp at double or triple that so much lower torque
