liners fitted!

hi people i have fitted the two new liners tonight to my mig ! i found that the swan neck didnt have one in ?
now everything is back together i notice that when i move my torch 180degrees left to right (from 3oclock to 9oclock) i feel the wire twang a little is this normal or ok?
and does this pic look ok of my tip shroud and wire>

Hi Drew! yup, looks good! Did you try it out yet?
Ah, that musta been the problem then...the liner in the swanneck was missing? If i remember correctly your cebora has to have a seperate liner for the swanneck.....

Yeah that noise is normal! I tend to do that when the wire gets a bit stuck in the tip, most of the time you don't even need your cutters to get the wire free....just wiggle your torch a bit, pull the trigger once or twice and it just pops back out!
lol If that doesn't work it's really stuck!

If the wire "twangs" and twists. You need to be careful when you just stop welding as it throws red hot bits off the end of the wire. I've had this happen a couple of times in work and it catches you out just when you've flipped your welding helmet up.

hi guys i have tried the mig today and it welds like a dream! well it would if i stopped blowing holes anyway
i also got the 19kg calor bottle today for the burner project ! emptied and just needs the valve taking out and filling with water !

Haha, yeah it seems like it always happens after you've flipped your helmet up! and they always seem to go for your eyes!
