liner for welding aluminium

Hi All,

I want to try welding aluminium. I've got a butters AMT1800, which I'm pretty sure is an AC set, but I'm not sure what liner I need though.

I've been told I should get a teflon liner for Ali, and have been looking on the internet for them, but I dont know whether the ones I've found will fit my torch and mig set.

Are there different types of liner, i.e. different fittings etc. Or should any liner of the right length do?

Its a 3 meter torch BTW.

the output will be DC most mig are except the really cheep and nasty ones. if its a euro torch then and 3m liner will fit. don't forget the oversized tips as well the the ali wire expands with heat and jams standard tips
