LineBore welding parts req

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right directions to aquiring some used bore and line boreing equipment ? something to do holes from 2" to 12" diameter (50mm to 300mm) or their abouts . I need about 2 meters of bar plus tips , set of bearings, 300mm travel "auto" possibly 110v and welding end .... your help would be much appreciated ....

Tried importing direct from the US???, I only say this as a guy I know was big into it a few years back, found he could import a new rig for fairly much what a S/H here would cost......

He didn't have the welding end on his we used to hand weld into the bore first before setting it true and boring back, haven't done any of that work for a couple of years, maybe Hyundai have learned how to fix bushings in these days

Tried one or 2 companys but they dont seem too interested to export to the UK .

Update .....I found a few companys to export this equipment ... be nice to know anyone on here who has got the equipment to give me the high's and low's on it !!!

Well I tested out the machine yesterday

I was their most of the day well impressed the only thing that buggs me it the machine has to opperate the welding process with the same machine !! the disadvantage is if you were to have a few bores to repair it would take longer this way as opposed to seperates !! on the other hand if you were charging on the hour it would be to your advantage I have to say the price was a tad more than expected but I am sure I could get this down !!

I have a similar machine to look at soon (lot cheaper) and some american ones to think about...


The climax machines are doubble the price if however I was not on a budget I would go for one of those ...
