lincon 180 c mini mig problem

hi, am new to this so bare with me
I have a lincon 180 c. it was working fine about 5/6 years ago. I just took it out my garage to try it out. I can hear the noise clicking but nothin else. the wire feeder is not moving . i have striped the wire out incase it was rusty wire but all am getting is a clicking noise, can anyone help

I have took motor off and tested it in a 12 v supply and it works fine, so motors ok, still just getting clicking noise from bottom of the machine

ok i have read a few threads in here and followed them
I have put a screwdriver between the relay on the curcuit board and the welder runs as it should. so can i get the relay fixed or is it a new board, can anyone help. thanks

If it tries to engage, the trigger switch and board should be ok
Relay not conducting could be dirt and corrosion,on the contacts.
Some contactor type relays can be disassembled and cleaned.
Depending on what kind it is, the relay can usually be replaced,without changing out the board.

From my experience of these machines, you could try replacing the relay on the pcb. RS & Farnell are sources for these. But, most often it's a failure of components on the pcb that causes this. Ashley Tinker at Arc Industrial Electronics (01924 466862) fixes these boards if that helps. If you remove the pcb for repair, make sure you mark all connectors - some had 2 multi pin plastic connectors that are easy to remove/reconnect, some had individual spade connectors to the board which are a right pain.
I assume you have checked board fuses? There are 2 from memory.

yes tryed the fuses, i spoke to ash and he put me onto a place to try and change the relay
