hi guys,

there's a lincoln compact 220 mig on ebay at the moment just wondered if anyone had any info or thoughts on how good they were or bad and wether the price was acceptable for this type of machine?,

yeah, it's a good bit of kit, will go on for ever and parts/service won't be a problem
I would have said 400 quid was top dollar tho for this age of machine - it would be interesting to see what others thought.
See if he will throw in the gas bottle and speedglas mask for the price?!

Good welder like but well overpriced. There are others that will go much cheaper, but are up to the mark on quality, but they're all under 200A. Don't tell anyone I said this, but have a look at the Britweld machine....
