hi

just picked one of these up and its set up in 3 phase 415 volt , any ideas how to get it to run in 240v mode? i dont have a manual

Try googling a little more it may be self sensing for the voltage/ phase etc

Manuals available here... http://servicenavigator.lincolnelectric.eu/index.php?cmd=doc_list&cat_id=17 The various flavours of v205 are multi-voltage single phase, nothing to set/alter in the machine they just need a suitable plug fitted- i made up adaptor leads for my v205t. The v270 range is 3 phase only, choice of multi-voltage or fixed

thanks hot rodder yea i just changed the plug and its all good now thanks, the serial number is I2100300xxxx which i think indicates a 2010 model ,this should be a fan on demand model but the fan runs constantly for some reason even if not welding as soon as switch on ! should still have warranty though
