Hi, does anyone know what this is or any way i can test it?
I picked it up with a job lot at the auctions.

Looks like a TIG add-on to an arc welder. Probably specific to the machine it goes to (runs on 24V).

Hello Ian,

the odd thing about the primary is 24V ac and 2 A, so you'd think that was for just the control circuits? What does it look like inside and how many heavy current inputs or outputs are there?
