Hi
If you mention what you are going to be doing with the welder it will help people
to make the most appropriate suggestions.
Just off hand the the Esab is physically heavier than the Lincon,
The Lincon has a much faster wire feeder, up to 15 metres as opposed to 12.0904 metres for the Esab.
The Esab is listed as being able to weld 9.5 mm thick plate.
There is no torch included with the Lincon, don't know about the Esab.
I would strongly encourage you to read especially post #14 in the thread in the link below before considering
the Kemppi.
As far as I can make out there are problems with the torch on the Kemppi minimig,
Looking at the torch does not give confidence that it won't need replaced quite soon
which will obviously cost you added expense.
Here is a link where a few people are having trouble with the torch, they guy in Australia, http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/kemppi-180-minimig-spatter.8230/
he states he had to change the torch off the Kemppi,
he replaced it with a Binzel, which are excellent torches.
He also points out that Lincon rolls of wire don't work well on this machine, as the centre
is slightly too tight, the reason being there is a bearing on the Lincon tha rotates with ease
and it grips the inside of the Lincon wire roll hens the tighter centre that he says puts strain
on the feed motor when the rolls are put on a Kemppi, not sure about this though,
so check it out for your self.
Also the prices, if you are on a tight budget like most of us, will play a part too, but try not to
just take the cheapest if there are better reviews on the slightly dearer product, especially
if it does the job better.
Super good deals on Speedtec 200 and 215 machines at the moment, find your local dealer and get twisting his arm because if he doesn't already know they are on promotion at the moment.
