Hi guys and gals, i was wondering if any one out there could maybe help me out with a problem. I am running a 180 lincoln gas less out at work welding steel wall frames etc. The other day i was welding in morning then went to weld again in afternoon and a problem arose. When i go to weld i get a small spark kind like when you are welding over thick paint or not getting a good earth. I went over the earth checked all conections etc they seem fine. I had a problem with earth lead conection to machine a year ago , where it had snapped the brass conection. Working out remote i had to screw the earth lead with a self tapper back into the brass conection and it worked fine for well over a year so i have my doubts that this is problem.
As i am working out bush in a remote area i thought i would try this site for help before i buy a new one or have to ship it of to get fixed. Thanks kindly for any help
