the new toy is finaly here and why dose 8 days seam so long when your wateing for something
its not a very goog looking welder but it looks very robust not shore bout the gun it looks a little brittle like it might brake if i drop it

im very pleased with how my tool colection is going so far it satnds at a LINCOLN ELECTRIC SP-140T, pillier drill, bench mounted belt sander, 33 gal compresor and the normal hand tools jacks and stands. its terning out to be a good little workshop

Should be a nice machine.

All the small torches seem a bit flimsy. That makes them lighter and easier to use.

I have a big, 400A, pro gun and it weighs 5 pounds and made of something that resembles Bakelite. I prefer a small light gun.

I seem to remember the SP have a removable gun. So it makes serviceing them easy. Also allows you to use other guns if needed.

im about to go and try it out for the 1st time but iv neva done gasless welding before so be pered for a good laf when i post them

and yes the gun is very simple to remove bothe to separte the gun from the welder and to take the gun of the by its self

If it is like my Tweco guns, it should be a 5 minute job when you need to replace the liner. I also like removing the gun for transport as less chance of damage.

What mask do you have. If it came with a handheld, it will be difficult.

Gasless is hard to see and to hear if the wire speed is right. I would get a bottle of gas, they are not expensive as here you don't need to rent them.

The handheld ones are only included for legal reasons. Too dark for MIG anyway.

not a happy bunny, its blown the cercut braker in the garage and now it will not reset to day has been a complet disaster couldnt spray my panel's because its raining and now i cant weld beause i have now power

My Clarke 130 would occasionally trip a dedicated 20A breaker. It is one reason i wanted a 220V MIG.

You might want to run a dedicated 20A outlet. Worth the effort. If you can find a good electrical supply, you might be able to get a breaker that handles heavy start-up currenrts.

As for me, I violated code and installed a 30A breaker (could not find a 25.)

Also, if you use an extension cord, it heads to be rated for 20A. Otherwise it will drop the voltage and you will lose considerable power.

These small MIGs are near impossible to use on a regular outlet.

if it was my house i would run a dedacated line but it's rented so im not spending mony for someone els

iv spent a lil more time in the basment looking at the bord ( isted of cursing it) and the garage is only runing a 15A suply but the kitchin has 3 20A RCD's just proteting the sockets in there so i might fined 1 of them that isant poweing enything and run a big power cord to the garage for the time beeing

By RCD I assume you mean breaker.

If you have the panel in the garage, it is easy to add a dedicated outlet. Mine is 6" below the panel.

It can be easily removed when you move out.

Also, a washing machine will be a dedicated 20A outlet (the ones with a T for one of the terminals.

and yh il see what hapends start of next year becouse if we move out i will be getting 1 of thows work shops you see at menards

and no its hidden down in the basement so it means i have to got threw the wall not a problem but would be when we move
