Like Buses! - Now need Cutting Discs...

I know this has been covered a million times & I did read a lot of the previous threads!

I've found Klingspor A60 discs for 64p each, Is that a reasonable deal?

It's about right for 115mm if you're buying 100. What's it got to do with buses ?

Yes they're the 115mm ones, Sadly 125mm won't fit my grinder!

Pack of 25 at that price per disc, Don't seem to save much more buying 100 discs.

Ran out of flap discs the other day, Now cutting discs!

we have been using disc from RECA UK for the last year or so now and have found them better than anything we have used by far we have a rep that come around not sure if you can buy direct

RECA are superb for consumables.

3m cubitron, and the tyrolit, and kingspor premium range are all up there aswell.

£16 for 25 isn't bad. Norhants welding supplies sell them and if I rember about same price, but added benefit of having them in you hand same day!

My Makita grinders were 41/2" but I cut the rim off, sprung it open a little and welded it back on, Good solid job and now takes 125mm discs,

Can't seem to find them available online.

We use Reca too, have done for the last 6 years- we have a rep that comes round every week. Decent gear and after some negotiation the prices are ok. Not sure if they deal with non trade

Failing that I really like the Toolstation German Rhodius discs.Chopped an MX5 chassis into 8 parts with 1 disc. Tried the other cheaper ones but just no comparison. £12.50 inc /10 though. No idea how many to cut up a bus.

Might give them a go another time, Got a box of 25 Klingspor A60 discs to get through first! Haha

Another vote for Rhodius discs...fortunately they seem to be the only discs available here in Crete...
