Just a heads up for those that might be interested, Lidl have a selection of hand tools, Only know about the water pump pliers, they are excellent. I have virtually carried various makes in my boiler suit rule pocket for the last 40 years for any little jobs that cropped up, The Lidl ones are well made and strong with a nice feel and the beauty is they are only £1-99p each or three for a fiver, Bought three pairs today, Hope i live long enough to wear them out,

Don't the current offers reach all stores at the same time?

I bought some last time they were on offer, not used them much, but as Gordon says, seem OK certainly OK for the money. I also bought some fence wire cutters I think there called, like a large pair of end cutters or pincers. Didn't have a use for them at the time, but have come in handy. Difficult to beat at the price.

Law unto themselves we have two stores within a couple of miles the one at Lewisham gets most things in on the published day, the one at Bell Green is often a few days late. If you look on the web site it asks for post code to show offers in your local store, they often differ from offers posted by members here.

i was in there this morning too brought one of each side cutters pliers and pump pliers oh and some mole grips cheap nasty ones that dont meet properly
