Bought mine yesterday, used it today for the first time. The bracket that holds the saw to the table isn’t aligned properly so needed two washers to cut straight but apart from that it cuts cleanly and quickly, cut some 10mm mild steel bar and 100x50x3RHS so far no problem.
Slightly irritation having to hold the trigger while it’s cutting but I guess it is a portable bandsaw

Use the right plastic and its fine - been using 4" wide, Mod 5 plastic gears around 2ft in diameter in the drivetrain of our many stage machines for the last 15yrs - alternating steel/plastic, one of each on every stage of up to 20 stage machines - a 15kW motor every four stages. The steel ones wear out first.
I've just gone to use mine for the first time since purchase.
Found out that the gearbox isnt meshed properly and disengaging when load is added.
Slightly annoying really.
