Just a heads up on these maks.
It's not clear in the French instruction,(it's not mentioned). I don't have the instructions in English.
If shortly after using your helmet, with the batteries in for the led light (never found the use), you find it doesn't work. And assume like me it has an internal battery, which needs sticking in the sun?
Then I assumed it was duff, found the guarantee.....
Then I changed the two AAA batteries, and off it went like new.
I assumed the two batteries just did the lamp. I assumed it had an internal battery.
No, apparently?
Which in some respects is great, I just pop the batteries out, and in when I need it, which can be sporadic.
Or has it a duff internal battery?
Your thoughts please folks.
As a postscript, my esab warrior, died after a good 3 to 4 years, maybe 5 years, but a battery operated as opposed to right joy of disassembling sealed for life has it's advantages, we'll see how long it lasts. Failing that I use it for arc and tig, and it does the job. For what £25!
