Lidl bench drill

I'd never thought I'd ever said that...
I gonna buy a bench drill .... from Lidl a Parkside one.
That's an entire program ,I've never bought one even the cheapest from them to make a little drill grinders.
But this time I gonna get it to use it as is ..
A new model , probably nothing special but enough to make me curious.
It has morse taper tool holder (probably MT3) which is the thing captured me .
A nice tool less chuck .
CVT transmission, led light .
Although a small motor 350W s1 500W s6 which I will probably modify replace if I'll kill it
Few pictures, fingers crossed , I'll get one when they'll be sold over here

I'd imagine it will be short on torque but do let us know.

Very good do we know is this coming to UK soon and what price it is?

(No interest personally as I have just bought 2x Pillar drills recently)

I like that it has CVT. Hopefully there'll soon be loads of cheap second hand ones from people who can't read instructions and try changing speeds with it switched off!

The drill itself looks ok.

The table and stand looks very lightweight especially compared to some older Meddings drills.

Hopefully the table is ok without too much deflection.

seen a few complaints on a wood forum about spindle slop.....
might be worth a look before u leave the shop.......

Yes it looks lightweight ,but hopefully nothing too bad

There is a screw for tighten the quill travel anyway should be solvable

One trick I'm told is to fill the pillar with concrete, it stops it flexing.
