Just Squirting some paint at a battery box and two little brackets.
I have to waste a little time till I can put some top coat on. Wet on wet baby.
I guessed I wanted 20g of epoxy, but decided to mix an extra 5g.
I got two coats and extra coat on the pitted bits! What a guess.

I would have had the primer on half an hour earlier, but it took half an hour to stir the epoxy so the silt had gone.

The top coat is annoying I obviously had to buy a tin of hardener. I should have found someone
painting something black and nipped around and scrounged the dregs.

Bend a bit of thick wire like a coat hanger (a 2.4 tig rod is perfect) into a triangle shape with a tail & use that in a cordless drill to stir your paint.

yep i do this ...or can get a proper stirrer thing from screwfix for a few quid to use on the 5ltr tines

A beater from an old electric food mixer works well. As they are either stainless or chrome plated they clean up easily.

The solids in epoxy primer would put up a fight and the aluminium rod would not be the winner.

I use a 600mm poundland stainless ruler, chopped a sensible length off for stirring. Took me atleast 10 minutes yesterday stirring the hb989.

Ive tried bending up some 4mm steel rod to make a whisk in the drill, it did not work well mixing grout so wont be trying that again -seemed a good idea at the time.
