Im after a bit of a idiots guide to what you can and cant make
Im mostly into agricultural repair and fabrication everything from repairing sheds to making new bale spikes etc
Obviously anything structural ie buildings, lofts etc comes under ce marking en1090 i think?
Repairs/fabrication on site doesnt come under this tho so would i be allowed to make a shed completely on site legally no problems?
What about other items?
Anything for lifting ie pallet forks etc comes under loler testing but what qualifications etc do you actually need to make/repair stuff like that
At the moment im keeping mostly to simple stuff gates, feed barriers etc but after a few more ideas of things to make preferably without masses of extra rules and regulations
Pretty much every product you see for sale ie loader buckets, bale spikes, cattle feed trailers, bale handlers, stock fencing tensioners etc are ce marked but im assuming a much easier process to adhere to than for structural buildings etc?
Obviously got public and product liability already but well aware it wont cover you if you do something you shouldn't of!!
Sorry for the sort of open ended list of questions guess im just after some feedback from people doing similar sorts of work really
