LED spotlights dim randomly

I have an 'antique look' light bar in my kitchen that has four LED spotlights in it, they randomly go dimmer for no apparent reason.

I've checked and tightened all connections back the the CU but no change.

I noticed that one lamp is always the last one to go out when I switch them off, should this tell me something?

I'mm wondering what else could cause it to happen, any suggestions before I rip the lot out and rewire would be very welcome, it's driving me mad!

I have another LED dimming fault in another room, I only mention that in case it's relevant but I'm hoping to deal with that one as a separate thing!

Have you got the correct type of LED compatable dimmer switches?
Are they actually dimmable LED's?
The one staying on longer than the others sounds odd though, are they all individually wired or connected through a controller?

I have a small LED lamp with electronics in it, that goes out slightly later than the other one in the room. Presumably there is a capacitor inside.

Would it be possible to move that LED to another position?

I have had a similar issue with using different brands or types of LED lamp in the same fitting. Once changed to all identical lamps all was good.

make sure the polarity is correct, eg make sure the live to them is switched and not-the neutral . try diffrent makes - of bulb in

The fitting came with tungstens (on the right) and I've fitted LEDs (on the left) I'll try moving them around but they're being even more annoying than usual by behaving themselves right now!

There are no dimmers, the fitting is wired to the tail out of the ceiling rose (hidden inside the hollowed out cross beam) which is controlled by two way wiring.

All the same batch, but I'm glad I'm not the only one to have LED problems, I wonder if the low current draw means any small contamination on a contact could have a relatively big effect somehow?

Another good suggestion I'll do that but It'll take me a while to get my head around a method of checking..

Get out your welding mask and look at them when they dim, it may be so many of the led,s going out,faulty batch

If you have a DMM remove one of the LED's and measure the voltage at the fitting, as they all are in parallel it will tell you if the voltage is low, if it is swap one of the other LED's for a halogen then you should easily have enough current draw to see if that fixes the problem.

just buy good quality make branded lamps and -pay the price. i never fit sh..ite -i can get any faulty ones returned even after a year no matter how long they have run ,buy unbranded cheap-crap at - your own peril. its not a bargain
