hi fellow electrician and celt? i'll do what i can. i only said she might jam with us, if she drops in here all the way from normandy. the guys play the stuff she likes because the last girl singer we had did the same songs, but then she decided france wasn't for her and went back to engerland, so now it's just me. even farmers must take a holiday in the sun(know a song about that) sometimes, so it could happen.
i found myself on youtube. i was caught singing some jazzy blues stuff with some really old guys in the local bar. the owners a jazz fanatic. so not the band and not how we sound.(but i suspect that's not why you're asking) my wife filmed and posted it. 1st i knew was when the guys "mentioned" it. still "mention" it if i hit a bum note, or jazz as we refer to it. bass players dutch too, probably not get a word in once they get talking.
so is that avatar not sparkey then? regards, stewart
I have the complete manual in Swedish. I can point out the important stuff (pretty straight forward) and in the manual you have amp, voltage and choke (the three outlets) it's called "drossel" in swedish. Or induktans (inductance) for wire 0,6-1,2. In the parameter settings table you can also choose thickness of plate, the typ of "seam" (??), vertical vs. horizontal, gas (straight CO2 OR argon/co2 80/20 mix) and the actual speed to move the gun.
I've tried the settings and welded by the book so to speak, and it's dead on!!! Welding is as much art as science, but it really takes the guesswork and the extra 15 minutes out of it. PM me and I'll send you the manual as a .pdf.
BTW, it's an extremely good machine. You can buttweld 0,5 mm sheet metal, and if there's need you can easily buttweld 6 mm sheet.
If it's an old rig, convert it to have euro torches and by a new MB15 (if you mostly use 0,6-0,8 mm wire) or maybe a MB25.
