Some weeks back I spotted some old sliding patio doors on FB marketplace for free so I managed to rope mrs W into helping me collect them in her horse trailer.
To say they were heavy is an understatement!
This is what we brought back:
Today I stripped them down and ended up with these:
Plus some firewood:
What I originally thought were double glazed units are actually triple glazed!
The plan now is to separate the individual panes and build a timber frame to suit their sizes.
There’s actually a 4th piece still to collect at some point, I don’t need it but said I’d get rid of it for them.
How can I tell if it’s toughened glass or not?
