Leaking regulator.

The screw fitting in the middle of the photo is leaking where it connects to the hose to the mig welder, I have tightened it as far as possible, what am I missing?

Have you put some washing up liquid around the joint so you can see exactly where it's leaking from.

Also can you undo the joint and take a picture so we can see exactly what type of union it is.

Try wrapping the threads in PTFE tape.

No don't do that, the threads do not form the seal, there should be a bullnose that seals onto a seat

IT has been reported before that some nuts are too deep or the thread on the reg is too short. The nut bottoms out before it pulls the hose tight against the seat.

Looks like the nut is bottomed out on the reg. Don't know of a fix other than grinding the nut down.
