I have discovered a leaking pipe underfloor in my utility room. It is from the mains cold water supply. I have removed floor tiles and located the leak right at one side of the door frame.
It should be 15mm copper pipe. I will start breaking up the floor in the coming days to find the leak.
I see solder on repair peices for in situ pipes. Im not sure if the leak will even be on the top of the pipe so may not work.
Dificulty of course being that itll be a fixed pipe within a concrete floor. Any suggestions for what to use to repair it in situ? I see slide on compression repair joints but they would need some movement side to side in the pipes = big cutout to let movement happen. Im hoping for some sort of sliding / expanding repair joint?
