Leaf spring manufacturer

Any suggestions for a leaf spring manufacturer. Looking to replace a 7 leaf setup with one.

Well I was going to recommend West Bromwich Spring as my uncle worked there for many years and even made some springs for my Dads Landy, but it looks like it closed a couple of years ago

I know nothing about them, but I found this. Years ago when I did trials, I think people used Stones springs, I've googled them but no luck. It's long ago & probably gone

We have Sperry springs up the road that actually make rather than import and rebadge road springs, not the cheapest but to avoid disappointment they are worth a call. http://www.frmspares.co.uk/

Nothing really wrong with a multleaf spring if you grease between the leafs , it can transform ride quality . We used to do this then wrap the spring tightly in denso tape to keep the crap out.

Thanks guys, I’ll fire off a few emails.

It’s for my pickup, I’m lowering it 4" at the front with a drop axle, the rear is not so easy. The axle sits under the spring pack. Flipping it would have it almost on the frame without notching it. Something I dont want to do. So as the pack is nearly 4" inc the seat. By using a single spring under the axle will give me some wiggle room.

I used to have a period garage tool for greasing springs. It was basically a big G clamp but chisel points instead of flats on the contact areas so they forced the leaves apart. Like a lot of things - lent to somebody, I can't remember who, that didn't return it !
