LDV 1.9D problem

Quick one, I have checked the cut off solenoid and the relay clicks louder than I can hear the solenoid, I can feel a slight click from the solenoid but very slight.

I think I will get the filter set up properly and then that is removed from the problem, stop air in any getting in.

you have gravity feed but what about the fuel return where is that connected ?

It is as standard, not touched the return pipe.

I doubt it is the solenoid,
if you have left the return as is, then that could be the problem as said trace the return from the injectors and the pump if i remember correctly it does a loop of some fashion and it tries to draw air from the return my thought with mine was as the return was uncovered in the tank by the fuel level dropping it allow air to be drawn in there.
dont forget the main pump does all the sucking so any connection will try to draw air.
