Lathe rebuild questions....

Well I've got the "New" bits but some of them defiantly aren't new! The lead nut is though and looked so much smaller than the old one I though they'd sent the wrong part, well it fits perfectly with no slop so just shows how worn the old one was.
Not sure about the rest though it looks like they are from a ex demo machine or something, I measured them and the bushes are still much better than my old ones.
Getting a bit ****** off with it all really.

Well I've started the rebuild and have found a few more problems. Basically it looks like the machine either wasn't set up correctly from new or someone's been messing with it.
Parts of the carriage lead screw gearbox / drive was hammered together, shafts and bearings burred over, everything was binding up! The lock nuts securing the drive shaft were completely loose as well. Took a bit of hammer and drift work to get it all apart, the problem being that I couldn't tell what was meant the be an interference fit and what should be a sliding fit! It should all come apart without force.
Once it was all stripped down I could work out what was what and gave it a good fettling. That part of the lathe is now looking and feeling much better than it was.
I've slotted the gib a bit further along to allow the retaining screw the act on it properly, it was protruding out of its round hole and that's why it was bending.
Next to reassemble is the cross slide and all its associated parts.
