ay without disassembling the whole spindleMy Harrison has started to have a slight weep under the nose..there is a cover held on by 3 cap head screws. My question is does this cover come off by pulling back from head stock and are the seals available if any...pic shows the cover and where its leaking.

get a bit from there too but i will leave that now as its starting to sound like a normal Harrison trait that has age under its belt.Mine leaks as well very slight

Was just about to say it's when it stops leaking you need to worry.As long as it is leaking there is plenty in there

good job it wasn't a nuclear reactorI told my boss on a ship I worked on that the slight hydraulic weep was “natural lubrication” and would prevent things getting getting rusty![]()
