I might be getting my hands on a colchester triumph 2000 (rainbow gear change era)
that has had some mis treatment.
When it was installed in its last location, it was lifted into position with a strap round the chuck! And since then it has always taper turned.
Will this be because lifting it has pulled it out of adjustment or will it have damaged the spindle bearings?
If it's alignment, are they easy to realign?
Cheers
