I've bought a t-shirt and a hoodie fro teespring and can recommend them. http://teespring.com/shop/welder-ts...&utm_campaign=welder.default&utm_medium=email
Great stuff, I particularly like
Welder because engineers need heroes.
What would you Welders do without us Engineers telling you what is wrong.![]()
Just get on with it instead of being nagged at about stupid stuff or having to read drawings with things drawn wrong handed, with welds were you cant get to the joint.
There was another good one
welders are like engineers only with common sense.![]()
You would be happy to work with me then, If my report say there is a structural issue with a frame then I will ask for 2 simple things to happen, 1) you find the fault (sometimes I will make it easy with some ODS analysis) 2) you weld where weld is required...
I was asked to take a fan off a shaft a few weeks ago and nothing was moving it, I knew it either needed heat (a problem in an EX area, and couldn't be arsed with 2 hours of paper work) or going in a press.. the new lad started making all this noise about wanting drawings to see how the fit was on the shaft etc etc.. which I couldn't be bothered with..
You need fire if that doesn't workYou see if something aint moving you just need yourself a bigger Hammer! Simples![]()
Who got it off in the end then and how?You would be happy to work with me then, If my report say there is a structural issue with a frame then I will ask for 2 simple things to happen, 1) you find the fault (sometimes I will make it easy with some ODS analysis) 2) you weld where weld is required...
