Honda used to do workshop days, were mere mortals could visit and have demonstrated there gear in the maintenance shed use don there gear.
They had a hand held rust remover.
But it was not free.
In the public area was the only Powder extinguisher, in chrome finish. I ever fitted.
But they are closing, oh well.

whats interesting about laser light rust removal is the frequency required to make it do the job can be varyied almost infinately so you can set it to remove rust but not labels or remove rust but not sorrounding paint or even specific colour paint and leave others behind with little to no damage
i have a laser etcher machine at work and the parameters that can be set are boggling
for example to etch aluminium youd think it would have no problem etching plastic with the same settings, no chance, doesnt touch it! thats a different frequency entirely.
played around with it a lot and found it really quirky and clever how the presets varied so much to etch specific things based on material and colours
