Does anyone know if it's possible to attach a larger gas bottle to a Migmate 130? I'm sick to death of running out of gas just about every time I use it - it happened again yesterday after the shops were shut - and don't like the whole disposable thing anyway. I assume that a new regulator would be required, but does anybody make one that'll fit the existing plastic gas pipe?
I've been told that David Hunt Tools (near Reading) supply a larger version of the disposable bottle but I'd rather use a generic type that I could get from any welding supplier.

And your welder might not have a shelf that will take one. If this is the case, then you can make a welding trolley (or cart as some call them)
a trolley with a cylinder shelf on the back. Even though I tend to weld only in the garage, having both welder and cylinder on a trolley makes it a lot easier to weld where I want to weld.
