out of intrest what you doing with the old engine ?

it's a Hayter, the narrow front track means you can get very close to trees and shrubs, ran last year, I have the bits not currently attached, except a battery, it is electric start, don't have the rest of the grass collector but it may be in the friends garage, will ask, needs love but might do some of what you need, I did have the tyres blown up but I suspect there is some corrosion that needs cleaning off the wheels,

Considering rebuilding it. I have two complete ones and a heap of spares from a fairly broken one. (Apparently I collect lots of Briggs and Stratton engines and parts). The one that came off is smoking quite badly and developed a knock. I am not sure new rings will be enough. I havent investigated the knock yet. I have almost enough spares to build another Hayter Double 3 too having gone through the pile today so it may end up on that, but saying that there are used Honda GCV160’s on ebay for around £60

kind of where I got to with it, maybe I will recommission it as a spare, my back garden is around an acre, if the mower breaks it can get out of hand very quickly!!
