Lap Top died !! Need a new one but what ?!

Thanks but I have tried that, in fact I was using an external monitor due to the display on the Philips having gone faulty about 18 months ago.

Sorted the image file issue, it's not as straight forward as vista but is doable.

what has this got to do with a hardware issue?

I would remind people that without MS pc's (inc apple as jobby worked for gates at one time) would probably not exist, & certainly not as we know them

Have to agree with that viewpoint, MS may not be perfect and may be inclined to a dominating marketing strategy but it has expanded the personal computer market for the benefit of all. Format wars will always have winners and losers.
I'm finding Win 7 very usable actually, definitely better then Vista. Am liking this Lenovo too !!

Pffff win 7 is definitely better than vista! vista sucks bigtime!
My new lappy's a Samsung...well chuffed with it too! The led screen is amazing!


So how did you sort the files then Tiggy?

Go into view in the toolbar, select sort by , then date. That used to be on the task bar directly above the images except it was sort by when modified.
Seems we are both happy with our new toys then
