Landrover master cylinders...

Hello.....

My Frazier Agribuggy brake pump failed and as I got it out and I made a look at it, it looks as a Landrover one.

Could someone please tell me, because I don't want to make a mistake. Is it the same pump I can get here??

The piston is 1'' in diam.

I asked the seller but all he can tell me is that his suits LR series 3.

Yours is the one used on a Land Rover lightweight. If you get a later one it may have different unions

Hi, apparently they are also used on Ford Capri's so try investigating that avenue.

LR part no is NRC6096 (There may be a newer Part No. but it should be easy to cross-reference.

Yup they can be used on capris. What has actually gone on the master cylinder. you can get rebuild kits.

the unions should be M10 Fine normal european brakelines.
the primary and secondary feeds should be on the other side.

the kits usually contain new rubbers and springs. if the springs are ok, you may find that the Rubbers have perished, causing the failure.

the machine sat for quite a long time and the piston is totally stuck, the sleeve corroded.. must be replaced..
