I had forgot i started this thread. My mate has decided there is too much work involved for him to want to do this project and has now decided to sell it on

If he's going to break then let me know as I'd be interested in good plastic interior trim bits to replace the cracked and broken items on mine

He wants to hang on a bit the price of scrap steel is really low at the moment

Hes not scrapping it. He has stripped it and selling it off in pieces

yo guys,

I happen to have just scrapped my shell which is unbelievably typical, however I do possibly still have to boot panel for it if it's of interest too you!

my advice for it is to get a profile made up or make one yourself if you can of a Z with 90 degree angles. run it around the boot hole and weld it in. then bolt the boot in welding nuts onto the under side of the Z profile. that way you can pop it out and gain access to the fuel tank and for cleaning /waxoyling.

have you checked the cills yet? and inner wheel arch... and battery tray. bulk head to wheel arch is also ace. so is C post to rear wheel arch

can possibly get battery trays off of Landrover for stupid cheap. think they are like 30 or 50 squid. much easier than trying to repair them.
