I thought it was about time I joined up. I have had several Land Rovers and am fairly conversant with the Rot problems, which keep me busy

I will, however need to replace the rear cross member in my Disco1 in the next year, and feel that this is slightly beyond me, because I do not have anywhere to carry out the work (except outside), and I gather this is s a bit bigger than most jobs. I dont fancy leaving the vehicle outside with no rear door for several months (I am a slow worker), so does anyone know of a good (and, as usual, preferably cheap) welder local to the Basingstoke, Hampshire region?
