Laminate floor repairs

Some laminate floor which has a ding in a very visible position, this one is down to the backing er, cheese, that the board is made from. There are also some areas where there are some scratches.

There's a load of different potions marketed for carrying out repairs, wax sticks, hot melt wax, tubes of stuff

Doesn't need to be perfect as i can't see it from my house but just needs to be a presentable repair.

Any ideas what I should go for?

Rip it up and put down Karndean, then when it gets damaged you can replace single boards at a time.

I'd fill it with something like baking soda and superglue then paint it.

Ive done a lot of repairs on damage like that. The trick is not to hide it. Make it look like a knot.
Fill it with some black filler then use a polish or clear wax

While I agree the new Karndean isnt as good as it used to be. Moduleo is both better, thicker wear layer and cheaper.

Or a dark brown marker pen would give it the knot look!

its difficult with sawdust but it can be done
