Currently sorting the rear brake pipes on my 04 Warrior after it failed it’s MOT, which is all straight forward, even found the bleed nipple too!

But, having a nosey round underneath, I spotted this, and wondered it it should have a length of flexi pipe coming off it, going who knows where?



Sorry for the dire photo, it’s dark and I’m just on with tidying up. That’s the rear diff looking forwards.

Any pointers would be appreciated, I can’t see where it would go if it did have a flexi pipe on to be honest..

Diff lock vacuum pipe. Breather pipe should be on top of the rear cover.

Think it's just a breather as cant remember any l200 with vacuum diff lock as standard.

If its the same as the shogun I had it works off a compressor,same one that did the ride height etc.

Think the Warrior had them as standard, my Trojan didn’t but my 4 life did. Not sure how they decided what model got one

Yes diff lock that hard line goes to a pin that locks the diff. There is a compressor on the x member above with a flexi linking the 2.

I’ll see if I can get the banjo bolt out, and replace it, and put a fitting on with some flexi pipe rather than the hard line that remains.

Poor truck has had a hard life, in the sea, in pig muck, down to its axles in fields, you name it, there’s not much it can’t do..apart from pass an MOT
