I called into my local tool place today to pick up a couple of belts they had on offer and came out with nearly £100s worth pliers. Don't need them! But I'm just like a kid in a sweet shop in that bloody place.

I did the same last time I was in my local motor factors...came out with a new 1/2" ratchet and socket set, a set of double ended ratchet spanners and a set of screwdrivers...the Mrs thinks they were free gifts because I spent nearly £500 on parts...I'm to afraid to tell her I only spent £280 on parts...

Now that I've got them opened up and had a play with them I'm going to have to go back and get the 180mm ones as well :-)

I bought a set of Knipex about 30 years ago, still as good as the day I bought them

Ha, that's my living room floor. Probably over 100 years old. Mrs would like carpet over them but won't because the tiles are easier to clean my dirty boot marks off.

I never come across any good tools at boot sales and the likes. It's hard to find a bargain over here.
