Kitchen cupboards paint ?

Planning spraying our kitchen cupards any ideas on best paint to use ? I've heard people spraying 2k but think smell would be horrendous.so maybe a 1 part paint that could hold up well ? Thanks

Can you take the doors off and spray outside?
Epoxy primer and a 2k topcoat would look great and be as hard wearing as you will get.

Ye I can do it outside so it could be a option yes, it's just as I have little kids wondering how to keep smell out of house if i did the cabinets inside the kitchen or would just maybe sealing the kitchen door up with something be good enough you think ? Thankyou

There's no chance I would be spraying 2k in my kitchen.


Also, without baking, I think any paint is going to smell for a while.

I just use eggshell, Wifey generally chooses Farrow and Ball!

If you are thinking of 2k inside you will need air fed mask and good extraction.
Even if the room was completely air tight it takes a few days before the paint fully cures and stops gassing off fumes.
I would do it out side and if you can't get rid of "all" people and pets, take it to someone with a booth.

Or go water based and brush or roller it.
Won't be as good but will be fine.

OK thanks guys 2k seems to be out the question then as I'm just after a sprayed finish which won't come away anytime soon. so what about a epoxy primer and maybe a 1part solvent paint I know not as tough as 2k but I don't want water base as they seem to be not as strong

I am about to repaint mine, there is a furniture grade paint , but still looking at airless painting , or just manually (paint brush)

You really want to avoid spraying anything in the house as it will require an enormous amount of masking up to -regent overspray.

Morrell or Symphony coatings is my first choice

Variety of materials and finishes depending on your needs and facilities/ equipment

Only real issue is actually getting the doors clean enough … don’t skimp
