Thanks for that, have you used them on 30mm tops, are you absolutely sure as there is conflicting opinions.

dont forsee any problem whatsoever just use the router plunge facility to regulate the depth of cut to just over 30mm, -- so effect your router bit needs to have at least about 35 cut, The Jig and the router guide bush take care of the rest, but if its a 45 degree mitre to make a 90 angle why do you need a jig?? or is it a kitchen style top with a post formed edge.?? any type or style of clamp will do as long as it has a very positive clamping action so cheap speed clamps are a no no.

dont realy see why you couldnt scribe a cut just like a post formed worktop one with say 12mm MDF-- so 30mm should be super fine, some cheap worktops were that at one time--maybe still are, I`m outa touch a bit.

It is a kitchen type with post formed edge, traditional jig guide not 45degree. It is quite an expensive top with no spare length for errors. Just would like to use the usual worktop clamps but 30mm thick top must be near to the limit for these.

possibly biscuits or a full sliver in a groove, not too sure what the minimum would be for the worktop but I would have thought you would get a worktop connector bolt into 30mm. heres a set just 65 long agaist the normal 150 long

of course once routered and fitted they dont look nice from underneath. but the 65 will need the same depth of hole as the 150s, could consider handrail bolts, or years ago before the connectors hit the market I used studding and a couple of nuts and some penny washers. did the same thing. often cheated and routered out for the nuts and just drilled a hole in for the studding saved a lot of routering out.-- Them was happy days!!!!!!!!!!!
