Kingfisher

Decided to have a go at a kingfisher,the bird came together without any problems, but i struggled a bit trying to create the splash
How the hell do you make steel look like water im not 100 % happy with the splash but over all i think it turned out ok.

im not telling
i cut a piece of scaffold pipe about 30mm then made 8 slits in it at around 20mm,these were banged in to the centre slightly to give a smaller dia at the top.
i then made another slightly smaller then welded the 2 pieces together,the droplets are just 6mm bar welded on and a few tacks on the end to round em off. if that makes sense.

Nice one, especially the water, reminds me of that liquid metal special effect from films like Terminator in early 90's.

Looks great.

Apart from the wing feathers look like you have them the wrong way round. The leading edge should be straight with the taper going to the rear.
